LOL at the mention of 'Pollution' as if that's a good reason
...its London do they really think a group of car enthusiasts makes a difference to London's carbon footprint.

Er, have I missed a London tunnel that isn't packed out with speed cameras?

The MPs Facebook page was hysterical the day after he originally posted it took an absolute pasting, half or more of what was said was incorrect!

I could understand it if there were accidents, injuries and deaths but to my knowledge, there isn't?! As Charlie says, I'm pretty sure London has more pressing issues to deal with.

Ah didn't know that. Can't be many though as that would be all they needed to stop them rather than make up crap excuses like they have.

People make loads of noise in cars around the park lane/Mayfair area all the time and nobody bats an eyelid, they physically couldn't put a stop to it..... Maybe no stopping/parking restrictions or police issuing people with A warning under section 59 of the police reform act..... You can't be stopped from using a public highway at anytime of day. London never sleeps, if they can't stand the noise move out of London!!

Quite agree. It all sounds to me like another case of picking on car enthusiasts because they can!
