a quickie,can the standard ppp chip be mapped?
if so who does it and any idea of price

It can. JGM Mapped a couple of mates PPP'd cars.

from 99 on yes...

altohugh there was a short period in 2001 where the bugeye ppp was a gems board and a smaller restrictor pill to up the boost, this just needs removing and then it can be remapped.

There's only about 20 horsepower max to be gained from a wrx already ppp'd if standard injectors and turbo are fitted. Fuel economy would be improved though as 2003/2004 wrx ppp fuel map is quite rich at top end and part throttle/load.

20hp at peak but whole rev range has power and torque to be gained.. not all just about peaks

cheers for that,since i have added plenty over the years it really does need the maestro to get it all to play in tune really can you mesage me your number please
and yes i currently get 230 max out of a very full tank on the top shell or tescos 99,what could i expect to see
the car is decated,apexi cone filter, ported headers,front mount.
cars a 2003 blobeye ppp with 60,000mls
made 270/270 ages ago at charlies
