Default Rolling road dyno day...

Hey guys,
On the island (sheppey) we have CPL racing who have a +1000bhp dyno machine...

Guy chamberlain (owner) is a civic man but knows a lot about tuning etc..anyone interested if I can get a price for a ses rolling road day?

If peeps are interested, I'll get a number and price etc.

Ryan

Would be good to setup a day at Surrey Rolling Road in their new building at some point as they open in a few weeks..... normally their price is £35 per car if we get 10+ cars, or £40 per car if under that.

I think Wagon_Si was looking to arrange one up there but other stuff got in the way of it happening.

I was thinking that. Be good to show a bit of support and have a nose around the new set up.

Surrey one looks good also - maybe a tad to far for me as nearly 5hr round trip - but if more peeps are interested in one on sheppey I'll get prices - he might be expensive - dunno yet! Ha ha

(Plus side is tesco that sells 99 Ron is on way to the dyno place)

Probably best if we check interest before we try and pin a date down mate. May is already busy for the club with Supercar Siege and the Ring trip, so June or July might work out for the best anyway...

The Surrey one would be better for most members I would have thought, as many of us know it and Charlie who runs it. SES have had several well-attended rolling road days up there over the years so it gives a good comparison for those who've made changes to the car over previous visits (to see what power increase they've achieved on the same set of rollers).

Ok no prob - well if it's arranged I'll make the trip as want to know how badly the motor is running - I reckon it's only about 230-240bhp - def ain't got the prodrive PPP I was told it has - well don't think so anyway! Don't feel nowhere near 300+ bhp as my mates 200sx which is only 305bhp pisses all over me!! He'll be interested too if outsiders are allowed

So that be June 7th then?

Well I'm about- anyone else wanna do a June 7th?

What's the view on outsiders? My mate is desperate to have his 200sx dyno'd and would be up for coming too?

Are we allowing outsiders? If so I'll confirm with my mate if he's coming?

That's my 40th on the 5th, what a better way to celebrate, I'll check that misses isn't whisking me away somewhere warm to celebrate, if she isn't I'll stick my name down.

I might pop along to see the new place, but won't add my name to the list as not looking for a run on the dyno.
