Sorry scotty not forgotten morrettes, just st been really busy as this wedding thing is taking over, still not long now.

Project update, well plans have changed and i have decided to build this how i want it from the off now, so engine coming back out for somehing with a bit more oomph in the future, six speed setup required. I've started taking some bits i fitted off for something else I have planned .

All will be revealed soon.

Well some of you will may have observed that Bitzer (Black track car) now has a slightly younger brother, Rb5.

RB5 has been pinching some of Bitzer's toys unfortunately, namely crystal side lights, CC stage2 clutch, lightweight flywheel, RCM headers, Miltek Exhaust, STI Genome boost gauge, and a few other bits. ScottT managed to allow Bitzer to keep the coilovers by supplying a set of the Eibach custom WR Sport springs that he and others developed and procured. So AGX shocks are now required so that RB5 will once again be nimble toed.

Not sure what to do power wise, I am buying the RB5 a Syvecs for early Xmas pressie and possibly a 18G or VF34 turbo. As the current 230bhp just doesn't seem to cut it.

Back to Bitzer, don't worry he isn't going without, I feel something a bit more special on the horizon for him, when only 500+bhp will do! Though this will take some time.

Si was trying to keep it secret squirrel...

Maybe he was parking it round the corner and didn't want Jo to find out by reading the forum

lol you lot aren't too far from the truth, i dropped Passat to new owner and did a detour with Jo on way home. Yes it was the one on here for sale.

Classic life is good, much more refined than I first expected, to be honest not really missing a newage, though obviously the age has taken the toll more. Nothing that can't be sorted.

I did say at the Cats Protection day that I am fed up with turning up in everything other than a Scoob!
