How about Wagon Train (starring a young Clint Eastwood)?
and of course Bonanza.

Keith, good guess on the names, but wrong! The grammar school in question is over 160 miles from here. Hair "styles" were almost identical to mine, and my beard dates from 1975. Looks like it's older than most of the members on here

I only threw one of these out (boxed) last year.
I did check on ebay first and they didn't appear to be worth much, hence it got chucked

there's so much above I remmeber, particularly Evel Knevil and Flight Deck

Flight deck was one of my fave Christmas presents when I was a kid.

In essence, the most boring game ever, until you put obstacles in the way for the landing. I always liked Crossfire too

I still maintain though, as a rule we did 3 main things. Bikes, football and cricket. Plus the odd extras thrown in for good measure, but we always started pretty much with one of those 3.........

..... unless there was a "Secret" camp

Cheers Clive. I like threads like this, they just get the memories going and nearly always good ones.

Corona Cherryade was my fave! Closely followed by Top Deck Shandy

Plus you used to get the old deposit back on the bottle of Corona. A good way of getting some extra pocket money that was.

I wanted a Chopper one year for Christmas, but then my mate told me he was getting a Raleigh Grifter. Had never heard of them, but needless to say we both ended up that year with a red one each.

I think I snapped about 3 sets of front forks doing stunts and jumps.

Later on ended up with an Amaco Freestyler

I somehow missed this thread. Some fantastic memories stirred up. I'll get some pictures up. I had all three 'Raleigh's". Started with a Boxer, then a striker, then a blue grifter. After having a grifter, I'm surprised I could have kids, the amount of time the thing slipped into that 'nuetral' gear!!.

Then had a Raleigh Burner, followed by the ultimate Gold Super Burner, which ended up silveras all the gold flaked off!.
