Default Crash protection bar and brace

Morning guys,
Been having a think and tad research about the u bend brace on new age, been thinking of removing it and fitting the whiteline brace across the wishbones,
Now reading up the spec c or s202/3 they all were removed from stock
What's your thoughts on this? It is a heavy thing also the under tray still fits on

I removed mine when I first got the car as it was due an mot and the crash bar was rusty with holes, it's been fine without it, that thing weighs something like 14kgs.
