Attention all.

I have just had an e-mail from Jacqueline at the hotel, asking what our plans are for food this year.

She wants to know if we will be eating at the hotel every night or not.

If I may be so bold, I would suggest what we did last year, which was eat there on Friday and Sunday night and we go out on Saturday night somewhere.

Please let me know what you think ASAP so I can return her e-mail.

Here is the said e-mail and my response to her.

Hello Steve
Not long now.
Could you let me know, if you are in for dinner on all nights? It would be a big help to us as far as preparations go.
Jacqueline

Hi Jacqueline

Things are getting very close now and there are a few excited people about. You never know, I might actually get my car there in one bit this year.

I have put a post up on the website with regards to eating and will respond back to you tomorrow if that's ok. I have suggested that we do what we did last year and eat with you on Friday night and Sunday night.

As is always the way, there have been a couple of drop outs, but we have actually had people fill the gaps. But we are waiting on the final decision of one of our number who had a really nasty crash 2 weeks ago and has got fractured ribs and a broken wrist along with tendon damage. He still wants to come if he is able and has asked us to hold out as long as possible. I will be bringing him down in my car hopefully.

I will come back to you tomorrow with confirmation with regards the food.

We look forward to seeing you soon.

Kind regards

Steve Green
South East Scoobies.

I thought about doing the same as you to be honest. It's probably a very wise precaution.

The dinning arrangements are fine with me also.

For those that havent been the food is 100%.

Not long now thank goodness, the way things are going it will be cheaper to get on the road to Germany.

As you say Nige,we followed tom tom the main roads, some nice unrestricted roads though.
Think my eyes will be firmly shut during any high speed moments.

Don't forget to go up to Adeneaur forest viewing position. thats the double left where everyone falls off (well not everyone, just alot of hairy moments).

The parking is via Adeneaur past Lidl, up to the left by a school IIRC.

Also Hatzenbach which some of us went to last year, which is the 1st complex of corners on the circuit.

Great photo's from here :

I think there are more details on the ben lovejoy site.
