Default micra problem............again

My nissan micra died yesterday, yes the one i only just got tut. was fine when i went to drop soph at work, came out of the shop and the little git wouldnt start, AA guy said fuse had gone to the fuel pump which meant i needed a new one, would make sense as it has been a little noisier when priming in the mornings.

trouble is the mechanic has changed the pump for a new one i got but still nothing getting thru. any ideas what it could be? litterally started fine then ten minutes later it was ill.

cheers

Dave
