Default Brits Awards

Did anyone else see any of it last night?

I had it on in the background whilst doing other stuff because Foo Fighters were playing, other than that most of It was dire, not really a fan of his music but impressed by Stormzy, seen him on a few things now and seems really surprised and thankful for his success, on the other end of the scale there was Kendrick Lamar, stood on top of a big perspex box with an orange Lambo in it, shouting something completely illegible while another bloke jumped up and down on the Lambo bonnet before smashing it up with a bat. Story on the BBC said "his intention was to make a statement about the emptiness of status symbols and the trappings of fame. But, with most viewers unable to hear his lyrics, it came off as "I'm so rich I can afford to smash up this very expensive car live on TV."

Was surprised to see Bjork nominated for best international female, had no idea she was still going.

God knows what the Lambo thing was about. As you said, just looked like he was stinking rich and preferred Ferrari's!.

BJork seems to get nominated every year. Maybe they cant think of anyone else lol.

Like you I had it on in the background. Few decent (though clearly unplanned) laughs from it: the presenter going to interview the Foo Fighters... but finding out they had already gone home and the woman in the background (Este Haim?) stealing the limelight during the interview with Cheryl Cole.

Seen Stormzy interviewed a few times and he always comes across as genuine. Massive bonus points to him for calling out the Daily Mail during his performance! Never thought much of Kendrick Lamar and his act did nothing to change my opinion of either him or his music.

Amazed me how they book an act and then have to mute 50% of the lyrics.
The production was pretty poor with alot of discontinuity between acts/presenters, poor sound quality and microphones not on.
Stormzy is a nice guy but prefer when he collaborates rather than raps his own track.

I see Stormzy quite a bit around the area near my shop, he also uses the same bank as me, he is a really nice guy
