Default New memories from Bentley, Scott

Back to Bentley after a long absence, and thinking of those good Scooby times there!

Nice one Keith. Didn't take you long to start organising a get-together for the new machine.

Was it 2000 or 2001 we first met at Bentley?

Ha ha Ian!! You are quite right - little kiddies had to be shooed out of the way when running on electric.

Year was 2000 Phil, with SIDC ! This car has only been on sale since January, yet each one was modified in some way, and we all had different bits!

Later with Japbash as well, as you say Steve.

Wow, didn't know you had SIDC meets there back in the day... 2000 was long before my scooby owning days!

I love the fact that there's people enthusiastic about all sorts of cars.

I wouldn't necessarily have expected it of these, but it's brilliant to see.

Brilliant pictures.

There's owners clubs for everything, I went to a small show in Hastings last year that had some nice old classics plus a section for old buses but the biggest surprise was the row of Chrysler PT Cruisers.

http://www.ukcruisers.net/

At the end of the day the help and advice of fellow owners keeps so many cars on the road. Just because most people don't see it as a classic, doesn't mean they don't have a following and a community of like minded people that enjoy getting together.

I recognise those pics Scott! Joni's Turbo 2000 and my old STi IV amongst others. Just think what that 22B is worth now.
I believe my old car is no longer with us. Last time I saw it the rear arches were well on their way, then I saw pictures of it after it had been "modified" - what a disaster. When it left me it was completely standard except for the decatted centre section

It looks like my old one was last on the road in 2012. Interestingly, it also seems to have been off the road for a couple of years from 2009, when it "lost" 9,000 miles!
