The problem is people will forget she has not made a record in ages and will now put her on a temple of fame such as kirk and such like. I mean she was good, but not a true great.

exactly, although she will be remembered by me as a smack head.

Those around her who used to 'feed' off her and provide her daily fix should feel utterly ashamed.
If only it sent out a negative about drug use....we will see

TBH i'm more moved over the 90+ who were murdered in Norway, rather than a junkie who was intent on killing herself.

Lets face facts, she wasn't 'that' good really was she?

Some people interviewed today were making out she was the best artist in the history of music.

Depends what you are listening,i like her voice and its shame too her,she live life which must end like this..

She has been great, but not the best in history, this will be big story as usual every story on front page for few days/weeks and later nobody will know who is it(as people forget on Haiti,Japan etc.).

So you agree with the people being interviewed that she was one of the best singers ever?

That's what i ment by the 'that good' comment.

I have to agree with Tim, i'm surprised she lasted this long.

Yes she had a good voice, but she'll be remembered by many as a smackhead. Turning up to do gigs in such a state she couldn't sing isn't exactly the best way to make fans in the music industry (not that i ever paid any money to see her!).
