Paint protection
Any one know a good place or person to get my paint protection done. I don't know the name of the stuff they use but its the stuff they put on new cars and paint to keep it show room shine.

Do you mean Supergard or something like a G4 technic ceramic coating?
The former can be picked up for a few quid on eBay and isn't worth it IMO. The latter needs a full detail and careful application and should last 6 months to a few years depending how much you want to spend. Depending where you are there are quite a few detailers doing G4 now. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk |

For PPF it depends very much on who does it.
Some cars are available in pre-cut form and your looking at about £250 for a front bumper, leading edge of bonnet and leading edge of wings. Just for the material. It is cheaper to take it off a reel and shape/cut on car but you need someone you trust with a blade. To get the front of a car done professionally your looking at £500-£1000. I was quoted £1000 supply and fitted for Pre-cut at Ferranghini in Maidstone on the front of a Golf R they had I was looking at. http://www.ferraghinicustoms.com |

Ok that sounds like the stuff I need then thanks guys.
I will get that done when I get my car back from the garage as it's having cam belt and a full service done with a few other bits. It's crazy I added up how much I spend on my last week in a year and it come out at just over 15k but I love it and I don't mind it's my baby.i am sure it will cost me loads more over the next few years. I bet you lot have spent a lot on your ones |
