Just days before the 24hr race, a new surface is being laid on a section of the track.

Practice and qualifying could be "interesting" for sure.

I suppose if it's a straight bit (as it looks) just before the slow right/left corner, it might be ok????

Hmmm..... will be slippery as hell i expect if it stays dry this weekend for the 24hr and then rains next week, new tarmac releases all that greasy stuff for a few weeks when rained on.

Will take it easy on the brakes into/through Wehrseifen i think

Have you got the "Ring Ap" ?

If you have, take a look when it gets dark. There are "Ring" shaped lights on poles above the tents!

It's like some kind of Village already!

Ahhhhhhhhhh, so that's why Martyns going this week, he has always wanted to be one of the Village People!
