How do you use the Tesco club vouchers?, do you just put in the code or do you have to go through Tesco's website

You need to register on the club card website and all of your valid vouchers will be available, select how many you want to use on Eurotunnel and you'll get a voucher code to use when you call Eurotunnel to make the booking, If you convert £40 of vouchers to £120 of Eurotunnel vouchers they will convert the odd £6 back into clubcard vouchers for you when you make the booking, I didn't realise this last year and put the odd £14 on a debit card.

If you leave to the last minute chances are you wont get on the same train as the rest of us,

then you have to get an earlier one.

Just booked the train at last

Managed to get on the both the 07:36 outbound and the 17:50 return, but not as a high vehicle on the outbound (its full - if I was a high vehicle I'd have to go 30 mins earlier or 2 hours later!).

Have you guys that booked before the 1st April all provided the additional 'Advance Passenger Information' ?? Its compulsory now but only introduced this month so not sure if it would have been mentioned if you booked ages ago.
https://www.eurotunnel.com/apis/?language=en-GB

The person I spoke to said that if its not done before you get to the port, you'll be pulled over to provide all the info as you go through check-in and could result in you getting delayed.

To be fair Steve you'll have no problem getting on the standard height train, amazingly my old Passat estate was lower than the Scoob, it used to ground on the smallest speed bump and I got it on the top deck no problem, when I spoke to them last year they said the only thing they have problems with on the standard carriages are Super Cars and that's more down to the width than the height.

I can almost guarantee you probably will not be put on the high vehicle part in any event - they will put you on the standard height part. They will then put you on the lower deck if the cars are low. Seen it many many times. Only if you are genuinely over 1.85m height or have a very very wide car you'll get waved over to the standard carriages at the final gate.
I've never had a problem in standard as long as you're on the lower deck - they are very good at knowing.

The last 2 trips to the ring I've booked in the over 1.85 as I was advised to by the booking clerk because mine is lower than the standard as was Daves on last years trip.

Never had a problem getting on the lower deck, have things changed this year surely a booking is a booking??

Think people are getting confused, you've just got to fill information about you and passengers, nothing is mentioned about vehicle height

You'll be put on the lower deck of the twin deck carriages - not the single deck for coaches and vehicles over 1.85m.

Makes no difference for your access.

Steve mentioned about being on the standard - I think you'll all be on it anyway despite what you've booked but will be on the lower deck. This is how they have been directing vehicles recently.

The information is separate as you say and is a result of immigration exit rules - for eurotunnel you should do it before you go, either on line or by phone If you go by ferry you have to do when you get there.

Cheers for the info, things must have changed before I've ended up with the coaches, motorhomes etc.. They must have known also I am over 6' foot tall..

You might still go on if they're not busy - just every time ive been on there recently they've redirected traffic to the twin deck unless you are clearly over 1.85 height or very wide - been on behind a lambo. Absolutely no difference for access for a scoob - they are very good at directing the low cars onto the bottom deck. Just wanted to make the point to Steve that you may all be together and it wont be a suprise on the morning if at the last gate they point you to the standard lanes.
Not long to go now!!!!

Last year most of us ended up on the double-decker part and it was fine, I had no issues getting up the ramp in my scoob. Only tried to book as a high vehicle because everyone else has (to keep the group together).

The additional information for the immigration exit stuff only took 5 mins online - just need some form of ID to reference (I used passports).

Allignment exhaust up and put cats in.
Replace fuel pump
Wash car.
