Default Engine

Hi , not a scoob i know but does anyone know where i can get hold of a engine for our peugeot ? it decided to self destruct last week , peugeot dont want to know even though its only done 54k , insurance says its wear and tear so need to source engine for peugeot 307 hdi xsi 136hp on a 54 plate DIESEL. , a long shot i know , chris

peugeot said needs a new engine so i guess so.

Pull it apart and check mate all them diesel pugs are much of a muchness could end up saving a few pennies by doing it this way

The diesel mixed with the oil , maxium revs , accelarator pedal stuck down , plenty of smoke , stopped her by stamping on brakes and ripping handbrake up , engine would'nt turn over after so seized.

Ah sounds like the fuel pump seal failed & poured into the sump. New engine will be easier. Try euro car parts as they can get Ivor searle re con engines.

i know your a bit far from them but they have pugs a plenty and loads other models plus they can remove the engine and im sure they can arrange delivery...
