as above and you also need to be a 'verified' user with them by registering a bank account on there, this will then lift all your sending and recieving limits

Don't forget if it's linked to a bank account it can take longer than one like to a credit card

yes, i think once your bank account is verified you are limited to what funds you have in your bank, i registered the card that went with my bank account too as the bank account transactions take a few days to take effect but using the bank card the transactions were instant.

I spent over 5k in one transaction a couple of years ago and paypal didn't bat an eyelid or block anything so i presume it was all ok as the funds were there.

There are some limits I beleive, but after a while if a lot of money goes in and out you have to fill in a form regarding anti-money laundering where you state the purpose of the account of business.
Not sure if it applies now but if you have over £500 in the account they used to like you to withdraw it, which probably isn't a bad thing as it's doesn't gain any interest in there.

If you send/receive over 2K they get a bit funny, it happened to me a couple of months ago. It must be linked to a bank account and you have to fill in a questionnaire. Took me a couple of days but the whole process wasn't too painful.
