Hi all, it's been a while. Hope everyone is doing well.

Might potentially be looking to rejoin the scooby gang soon.

Been out the scooby game for aloooooong time.

What can I realistically expect for 3k and where are considered good places to look?

3k with the prices now will not get you very much at all

You may be able to pick up a bug eye wagon for that sort of money but will be high mileage or you maybe able to get a uk2000 needing some work

Any of the jap imports are fetching good money at the moment

Realistically okay newage seems to go:

Non Turbo From £3K

WRX From £6K

STI From £9K

For really good examples double those prices…

Honestly 3k is really scraping the bottom of the barrell for a WRX these days. Think you would be looking at a very high mileage car, or one needing a lot of work.

I still see classics sell for around 3k but they are the rusty examples with no MOT
