Some pics i took whilst out in the snow today in the scoob.

Cleaned enough snow off the diesel commuter so i could move it out the way

Up on the South Downs Only a range rover and some foreign box 4x4 made it up there, quite a few people had hiked up the side of the Downs with sledges though.

Cool snow drifts!

Bashing a snow drift

Didn't get stuck anywhere

had to travel to sheffield yesterday and spent about an extra 1/2hour getting back to the m/way out of sheffield and then spent an extra hour to do the last 30min part of the trip due to a wagon taking out the central reservation!!
the upside was it being quite amuzing upsetting all the lemons sitting in single file everywhere when we simply used the priority "snow" lane on most dual carriageways!!

Well, good old Crowborough has done it again.

6 - 7 inches overnight

The scoob has got an impressive layer on it for sure:

The focus before I de-snowed it, check out the fresh snow halfway up the wheels!

And finally at work, where the Focus was taking the top layer of snow off, the scoob would have been buried in it!

It was a doddle getting in too. I thought I might have had a trauma or two, but the old Focus rumbled through with no issues at all.

Only passed two other cars though at 8.00am.

I have just looked out at my car and there is already another inch on it!

This must be worse than January now.

I reckon its alright driving on thick fresh snow, its when it freezes up later and the tracks turn to ice etc! My commute is t wells to cranbrook, and in the clio I'm not gonna get anywhere!

Wish i had the scoob up here for a play

Hastings got 12 -14" last night - But the trusty old wagon still got me into work.

Only spotted about 4 cars on the way to work and they were proper 4x4's....

The snow was so deep that the front of the scoob was acting like a plough, and had to clear the radiator twice...
