I'd take them with the Mitsubishi logo - they are fantastic cars. Can't believe they just sit there and aren't used.

Jokes aside if I was offered a WRC Evo, I wouldn't say no either!

That Evo WRC would be somewhat of a bargain as well, as I'm pretty sure that particular car has seen very little action on the stages.

You mean the "hoop" type spoiler? Not sure exactly when it arrived (pretty sure both the 04 and 05 Lancer World Rally Cars definately had it), but the early Lancer WRCs just had a regular rear spoiler. Thats one for the Evo nerds to answer!

Looking at the registration thats a very early Lancer WRC (Mitsubishi were the last manufacturer to homologate a Group A rally car, so I would think thats a first generation Mitsubishi World Rally Car).

Were you allowed to sit in the Evo rally cars?

We strapped the Surrey Scoobies GoPro to the Stormtrooper and got some convoy footage. It was obviously much longer so I've had to crop it right down when editing it. It was a bit of a nightmare to edit despite how simple iMovie is supposed to be.

Somehow I've left out the key scene of the queue of cars turning right into SUMO's forecourt. My apologies...

I started making it at 1pm yesterday, thinking it would be a quick 20 minute edit job in iMovie.
Then realised because the memory card in the GoPro is in FAT32 format and can't cope with file sizes over 4GB it cuts off and starts a new file any time a file gets close to 4GB. So I had a dozen or so video files to deal with with not much sense of chronological order (because the GoPro tells me they were all filmed in 1946!!).
Compound that with the fact that I don't really know the area and one generic file showing a scenic b road looks just like another when you've been staring at an edit box for more than a few minutes.
Then I had to trim out the dull bits (car stuck behind a Cavalier/Citroen etc)
Then I lost the first edit as I had to reboot my Mac and had to start over.
Second edit was too long for Youtube so had to re-edit.
Then found out the text on the intro wasn't showing so had to redo that.
By then it was 7.15pm.
Happy to send you all the raw video files if you can do better?
