Default Show Plates
I'm not sure if everyone is aware of this or not. But as of 31st October this year, making and selling of show plates will be illegal.

Rich (Dukeboy) asked the question about getting something looked into and I have come up with a design. Below are a few colour combo's. I need to look into the limitations of colours etc and will post as soon as I know them along with costs.

If you are interested in getting a showplate done, please add your name to the list below. Also could you please state what you want as your "name" and take into account the space involved on a showplate (no sentences and the like, keep it simple!) and a colour combination (again, please use common sense when doing this, first person to ask for mango or aubergine will be sworn at )

Just a thought Keith, if you want, we could replace the regions (bottom left and right) for a wagon squadron logo if you prefer?

I wouldn't mind 2/3's size as thats what mineis at the moment.
But TBH for shows the standard size qill be OK as it needs to be seen.

Not yet. I was going to wait until after the weekend to get the list sorted and then go about finding out the finer details.

I am hoping that if I make a sizable order we can get some discount, so that why I am holding back a wee bit.

Are we doing rears aswell ??
I thought they were just fronts.

My rear is oversized to fit the apperture, so could get complicated.
Also at a show the rear isn't so important.

Double check your rear plates as alot of scoobs have oversized rears.

I'll only have a front as the rear will look silly as will not cover my plate.

Scott raises a good point there. I have an oversized plate at rear - fortunately from most angles the yellow gap at the top won't show. For photos, I just tape over the yellow bit and it hides it enough.

THE ORDER WILL BE GOING IN AT THE END OF THIS WEEK / FIRST THING NEXT WEEK

AFTER THAT TIME YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ORDER SHOWPLATES AGAIN DUE TO NEW LEGISLATION (AS OF OCTOBER 31st 2008)

The costs for the showplates is £12.50 each (£25.00 per pair) including postage, this price has been reduced from £19.00 each or £38.00 per pair, so not too bad a discount.

I have obviously already paid for them, so please just square up with me next time we meet.
