Not got the rear spoiler or skirts as yet but they should arrive this week so here's some sneaky pics of the bits so far. All these bits are genuine Subaru/Prodrive - the rest are replica parts.

Well little movement thus far, the Samco hoses for the intercooler have arrived so that can be fitted when the scoop is painted although I'm waiting on the skirts from Italy before all the parts go to the bodyshop.

Any ideas where I can get some good quality hose clamps from for the intercooler/turbo pipes?

Also I made the rash purchase of a Kenwood DNX5220BT Headunit - which looks and sounds amazing, pictures to follow.

Go for the Mikalor hose clamps, Get the supra ones they are stainless steel, not cheap but are best available.

Cheers for the comments guys, quick but boring update, my new Kenwood dnx5220 HU is fitted and looks the business with great Nav/speed camera alerts, the STI rear spoiler has arrived and now my confidence in self fitting has evaporated!

Oh and some tosser keyed the back of my car so I need the boot and rear bumper resprayed as well!

So does anybody have any tips/pointers for fitting a Scoobyworld rear sti spoiler to a new age?

I really like them with no spoiler, especially in white!! it would take me three hours just to drill the holes, id measure, measure then measure again to make sure there spot on.

Drilling the holes was the scariest job I've ever done on a car!

I think I may go back to my original plan, L'aunsport front bumper and Spec D rear spoiler I'd also like to remove the bonnet scoop and fit a front mount.

Latest update, old splitter is removed ready for the new one and I've switched back to the original grille as I'm selling the one that was on the car. Also fitted the Prodrive Battery Clamp, ZunSport lower Grille and the new rear lights. Bit p****d off as the Prodrive splitter will not hide the holes in the front bumper from the other splitter so either need to get it repaired of fit a matching one from a breakers, whichever is cheapest.
Also fitted the STI TMIC with most of the Samco hoses, I couldn't get the dump valve hose off as the clamp is fitted in such a way that I couldn't get it off! I've got a silicone induction hose on order so I'll sort that when I switch the induction hose.

hi mate, only just seen this as been away for a long weekend without the internet!

front end looks good with the zunsport grill, just a bit if a bugger about the holes from the old splitter - i would have thought the uk300 lip would have covered them but hey ho...... will they not fill in and touch up easily?

rear lights look way better too

Yeah I was not amused when I offered it up! I've some paint etc to try and sort it myself should be ok, the holes are right on the edge of the splitter. I reckon I can fix the holes beofre getting the splitter painted and fitted - I hope the side skirts are at work ready to be collected so I can get them painted inthe next couple of weeks too - just not sure about the front grille options now, might go Zunsport there as well.

Just had a Valet done by these guys Goring Car Valet excellent job had a 1 stage machine polish, clay bar and wax they achieved really good correction. I wanted a good clean so I could fully assess the state of the paintwork before I got the car to a body shop. Just waiting for the skirts to arrive before I get the car booked in, think I need a full front end respray and some touch ups down each side.

Ok got the skirts now, just trying to find a localish bodyshop with a good reputation to do the work. It's a long list now though:
Respray of front bumper, stone chips odd small scuff nothing too deep/serious.
Spray and fit of brand new Prodrive front lip.
Spray and fit of second hand genuine front grille (JDM STI style).
Removal of two small dents and respray of badly stone chipped bonnet.
Spray and fit of brand new genuine STI hood scoop.
Respray/repair of front wings, front 1/2 of wings are badly stone chipped.
Spray and fit of brand new Orciari Side skirts in bare plastic.
Respray of rear bumper, 2 scuffs one slightly creased.
Respray/repair of boot, has been kicked and keyed by a passing chav I've pushed out the dent but still slightly deformed (boot has a replica STI spoiler fitted which could do with being moved slightly to the offside on refitting).

Been playing with some leftover paint I had, it's not a perfect match but I got impatient waiting for the funds to accumulate for the proper respray:

Before:

After:

Now where can I get some mesh to match the lower grille (Zunsport)?

I've found the exact mesh on eBay direct from Lockwood so I'll be trying to get that fitted in place of the black ASAP. Hopefully in time for Saturday

Good result on the dents, and getting the wheels sprayed was a bonus - now just got to get booked into the bodyshop!

OK - I'm driving a fiesta now, my cars just gone in to have all the goodies fitted and painted and also the boot and bonnet sorted. Just waiting for my APs, coilovers and mud flaps to arrive.

OK car should be back on Friday - Scoobyworld are doing their best to get the spoiler back to me by Saturday, so I should be at the brighton run on Sunday, hopefully with a spoiler!

OK getting there now, all I need is to fit the matching stainless mesh I've got to the grille and get the coilovers on.
