Default Hello!!

Thought I'd better sign up here (as well as all the other Scooby forums I'm on lol).

I have an '05 JDM STi that now has a 2.5l forged engine built by Subaru4You, currently producing 525bhp/524ftlb on 10% meth.

I am also guilty of "being" JTinnovations (Toucan touchscreen for Syvecs/AlcaTek, and sensors/cable assemblies).

I'll get some pictures and stuff up soon

Welcome Tim, I plan to be in touch next year for a sensor pack and Toucan for my car. Is your 2.5 pinned or linered to run that power?

Neither pinned nor linered

It has 14mm head studs and a cosworth "stopper" HG, but otherwise it's a standard 2.5 block. Max boost is 1.75bar, tailing off to 1.6 so not too heavily stressed.

It did 30,000 miles on 11mm studs before the HG's went, and it's now done 10,000 miles on the 14mm, but I know it's on borrowed time, and when it goes I'll have the closed-deck conversion done.

I know Andy is workinh hard to clear the backlog, but I don't think he's quite managed it yet.

Toucan's are available though and work really with the AlcaTek - I like the ability to adjust launch rpm from the screen and hope that Syvecs will open that up as a possibility for Toucan too

Andy suffers from being a one-man band with inadequate hours in the day to deal with everything he needs to...but I am talking with him to see how that might be improved
