Today was pretty wet but never stopped me fitting the oem Airbox , A/C belt cover , sti gearknob and sti steering wheel .

It was a dry day so got the classic out and started working on it so today removed uk turbo rear lights and replaced them with the sti rear lights does make a big difference also removed rear bumper to have a look at the condition of the bumper bar well looks like it's been on a weight reduction diet lol so will need to order a replacement one also the rear panel is solid just light surface rust so will do that another day

Final coat of paint on the tmic and fitted the original sticker back on looks fresh again cant say that about the rest of the engine bay lol

Looking good, was it expensive to get the bolts etc zinc plated iv never thought of doing that but it's a great idea to do that to all the bits.

I'll want to start cleaning up my engine bay this year.

I got board so done some more painting it's got a few marks needing rectified to be 100% but it's miles better than before so a pic of before and after .

Started on the downpipe last night then checked it this morning and it's the wrong colour of silver so will need to rectify that later anyway hers a pic of before and after .

Today I fitted the bonnet scoop undertray and the top mount now it's got me thinking if I should use sati lacquer to seal them so they can be cleaned anyway some pics .

Thought I would start on the classic so fitted the oem exhaust had a nice long look underneath got my work cut out when i start to remove all the underneath parts to be stripped and powder coated .

Hi beaster I bought them from a fellow classic owner on the type ra form the wheels are only 3 month old with new tyres i paid alot of money for them speak to Alyn from asperformance as he can sort you out on a new set for a good price .

Picked up a replacement rear subframe today it will get powder coated with the rest of the bits once they have been removed .

As I've started stripping the engine bay of parts I decided to strip the radiator completely as the fans needed a good clean and so did the washer bottle so today I've gave them a clean .

First pic is before and second pics are after followed by what I used with scouring pads.

Spent a few hours on the classic today so removed the scuttle panel , wipers and stripping the engine bay ready for the engine to come out .
