Default Coilovers

Hi all,

Getting Paul @ Extreme Scoobies to fit some Tein coilovers to my WRX Hawk finally and I've also asked him to fit EDFC Advanced which allows me to adjust stiffness very easily to swap between set-ups.

Any advice with where to (I assume drill?) fix the box/unit within the car? Is this something anyone else has fitted ?

Thanks a lot!

You could put in you're centre console or in the arm rest cubby.

Think the Mighty Car Mods guys on You Tube have just fitted this system to their Legacy, not watched it yet but might be worth a look.

Few locations...

- under ash tray flap (alongside cigarette lighter)
- above/below radio if you've swapped the standard unit for aftermarket single DIN.
- arm rest cubby storage hole

If you swap to a single din, a lot of people install a storage 'pocket' originally from the forester to make it tidy. Could put the EDFC controller inside that if you want to hide it?
Only issue i think they are the lighter silver colour of the earlier newage dash...

Cheers guys! I'm going to have a chat with Paul Monday! I had similar ideas, but like the arm rest idea!

Will keep you posted 😁

Finally got the car back. Got a manual to read and a dial to play with.

Oh, and a big fat CC bill to pay 🤔🙄

Happy New Year 😁😂

Default Coilovers

Tempted to put Teins with edfc on my wagon. I did like the Teins in my last wagon, and kwv3/clubsports are too over the top for what i need on the more daily car.
