might be boost solenoid getting sticky, have you a boost gauge to check boost levels? Coil packs?

Could be any number of things, as Si says solenoid, coil packs, a dodgy spark plug, some **** fuel or even problem with fuel supply, or a failing injector, (don't keep trying to drive it hard or you could do some serious damage if its an injector packing up)

As CJ said, drop Simon (JGM) a line.
