Wink Nige & Worzel Part 1

Here is part 1 of the video of Nige and myself creeping round the Nurburgring last year in the pissing rain on 888's.

I have had to do this as 2 parts, as the whole file was 1.3gb and YouTube was having a hissy fit trying to down load it all.

As I type, it still has about 20mins of Processing time, so will be fully ready to laugh at from about 5.10pm.

The things to look out for are:

1.57 - When Nige nearly stacked at low speed. Thats when we both thought, nope, not a good idea and kept it slow all the way round.

5.43 - As it goes round the left hander, watch on the let hand side for the new crash barrier and the mud on the track. That was where the crash that closed the track all afternoon on the Saturday was.

If you have fast enough broadband, or you pause it and leave for a couple of minutes to download a bit in front of viewing. Watch in HD @ 1080. You will see how pukka that little camera is

This year it will be doing some much quicker laps and anchored in a nice secret place

Mate, when you watch yourself close to falling off the track so slowly, you realise just how slippy it was on those tyres.

Plus, it's only a grin at the end of the day. We both know the score in good conditions.

If I can keep up with you, I will try to follow you on a flying lap this year

Ah, so thats what the back of an Evo looks like. I've never been behind one long enough to notice before.

Joking aside I've got all weather tyres and I'd be crawling round the 'Ring whether it was wet or dry! Good video Worzel!

I'm trying some new tyres out this year Kumo's. I will give them a good try out here first as they have a good rep & half the price of 888's & meant to be better at moving water. Just hope there as good in the dry. Have you tried them yet Neil ? Ps took your advice on the brake padds. Yes they do work REALLY well thank's.

I have used them in the past and they were pretty good but tyre tech has moved on since then so cant really compare with current.

I will be at Oulton park on March 5th if your not doing anything you can see what 600BHP through the rear wheels feels like.

My fault? How do you work that out?

My words to you as I remember were, I'll follow you round, seeing as it my first time round here, If I don't keep up don't wait for me!

I must admit Nige......... you were holding me back quite a bit, but I thought I had better play ball!

The 2nd part of "Following Miss Daisy" is downloading now and should be online at lunchtime.
