Default bad luck or wot ?

someone shoot me !!

1st my radiator starts leaking. was due to change it this weekend and have been relying on radweld and gentle driving to get me to the weekend so i can change it.

then i have either a release bearing going, or something on the crank so i've been sontinuing to drive it gently so i can monitor the sound. (Discussed in general mechanics)

then last night on redbridge roundabout (Essex), some complete #*@# in one of them 4-door smart cars pops his indicator on and then drives right in to the side of the car !!!
he recons cuz his indicator was on, that gives him the right to change lanes, even tho i was in the lane beside him !!!!.
his front wheel hit the drivers door skin and then the drivers side rear passanger door skin as he hit the breaks.

#@*##@#*#

Funny that, but these things do happen

Gutted to hear your problem matey, but if he accepts liability (which he should from the sound of things) it might be a blessing in disguise?

well he said at the time it wasnt his fault. he seems to think the fact he had his indicator on gave him right of way, but i am sure when his insurance company reads his version of events and see's where the damage is on my car, they wont contest liability.

on the plus side, ive just been told by my insurance company that if his insurance company dont contest liability, I will get a curtousy car on his insurance.

thanks, not sure if mines 406. am gonna w8 n c wot the insurance company says.

last time i was in an accident like this, i had a a 1974 spitfire. after i got repair quotes n stuff i told the insurance company that i do all my own work. they agreed 2 just give me the cash n let me do the repairs myself. if once they've agreed how much the repair cost will b they agree to give me the cash n let me sort it myself, then i'll probably just buy doors rather than repair mine. at least that way i can make a lil money n put that 2wards a new bottom end for my engine.

can u PM me with a price just outa interest
