Right guys, we are virtually there now.

So this is a last call for the people who haven't confirmed.

The e-mail will be sent to Jacquelline tomorrow (Wednesday 20th Jan) without fail. Anybody not on the list will have to chance their arm of not staying at the Wilhelmshohe with the group. Sorry and all that.

I will copy and paste this in a couple of other places on the site just in case.

The final list is here, please edit as necessary
http://www.southeastscoobies.co.uk/v...ead.php?t=3317

Thanks y'all.

That well may be a camera lap for me then.

One thing I want to try and do is contact someone at the ring / ring photo company in advance to find out the chances of getting where the pro snappers are allowed just for pics of the SES guys. Even if it's just for an hour.

Will probably come to nothing, but it's worth an ask.

Any ideas about good breakdown cover/ring insurance - worth trying for a group discount?

The insurance was a grey area last year for a lot of people. It turns out that a lot of people go on the ring uninsured.

If, as most people have done or are starting to do, you are with Keith Michaels then they do cracking ring insurance, but they won't do it unless you are with them.

Last year, I was with direct line for my insurance so I did the European Breakdown Cover with them too. WHATEVER YOU DO THOUGH!!!!!! Make sure you get covered for re-patriation in that deal whoever you go with!

IIRC, Spunky had his with AA last year and that included repatriation. So I will look down that route myself this time.

Anybody want to see if Gary can do us a deal (I'm insured through them anyway) - I'm going to see what RAC charge for European since I'm with them already - what aboiut the guys that cover you for recovery on the ring as well ADAC?

Just a quick point guys.

I would like to confirm with Jacqueline in mid April (approx 6 weeks before we go) the final numbers that are going. Obviously the people who have booked the ferries etc are all nailed on going. But there have been a couple of people mentioning they are thinking about going with us.

If you are one of these people, could I ask that you get things in place for around 19th April, so I can call Jacquelline with final numbers.

We currently have 2 slots that have dropped out after the initial call to her, so there are 2 rooms 100% guaranteed at the moment to be filled.

Cheers Y'all

If you have a sat nav download the shell garage locations to it via there website. Take some octane booster as a backup as well.

We need a get a meeting of the Ringers organised.

In the very near future. If anyone has forgotten anything they will still have time to sort things out if required.

What about next Sunday 9th??

At Dunnings Mill or another suitable venue.

i can't make the 9th unless its the evening. it might be easier to make it one evening in the week somewhere, as lots of people already have very busy weekends in the run up to the Ring trip....
