Default Opinions please

Folks any of you mind having a look at this please and give me an opinion? To me its exactly what i'm after. A standard UK turbo wagon. Is it a decent price? Ill try to drop a couple of hundred quid if i decide to make an offer. It's got a full subaru history and below average mileage for it's age. Seat bolster looks like it has a little tear but apart from that looks pretty good to me.

Hi Scruff
Whats the reason for wanting standard UK
You can get fantastic bargains now, lots of STI's out there fully loaded, better performance.

I will be honest with you, i dont like the colour, over 100k on the clock would bother me also.

Just my honest opinion.

Insurance and fuel costs are my two main factors. I see your point with the mileage, I know I should aim for something better really but I think ive got my blinkers on so am just seeing an easily affordable impreza. I'm gonna trust the wisdom and hold fire on that one.

It may not pay to rush in & buy the first you see matey.
As mentioned there are many good deals at the moment and with a little more spent you will find yourself a much nicer Scooby

I'd just like to say thanks to those who have talked me out of seeing this car yesterday. Overnight it has dropped £400!! Doesn't make me want to buy it, but i'd have seen it and got all excited and bought it anyway.

Its worth a Look IMO. £1600 is a good price from a dealer.

Mileage is fine, but trust your ears and instincts. I've had them with 135K miles no probs at all and still going strong. If its got good service history, and been looked after you can't go far wrong with it. It will have the obligatory, 4 pots breaks, 440injectors, stronger gearbox, and ECU that can be ECUTEK'd so a good platform if you decide to mod a little.

But at that price from a dealer you would have to look at it, as it should be £2K in a dealer forecourt.

But as said the more you spend the more you will get, but would say that appears to be good/fair value and nice genuine honest motor.

Oh and because he is a registered dealer, he will have to give you 3months warranty whether he wants to or not.
