Here's the 2009 calendar Not long to wait.

29 March 2009 Australia (Melbourne) 0700 BST
5 April Malaysia (Sepang) 0900 BST
19 April China (Shanghai) 0800 BST
26 April Bahrain (Manama) 1300 BST
10 May Spain (Barcelona) 1300 BST
24 May Monaco (Monte Carlo) 1300 BST
7 June Turkey (Istanbul) 1300 BST
21 June Great Britain (Silverstone) 1300 BST
12 July Germany (Nurburgring) 1300 BST
26 July Hungary (Budapest) 1300 BST
23 August Europe (Valencia, Spain) 1300 BST
30 August Belgium (Spa-Francorchamps) 1300 BST
13 September Italy (Monza) 1300 BST
27 September Singapore 1300 BST
4 October Japan (Suzuka) 0600 BST
18 October Brazil (Interlagos) 1700 BST
1 November Abu Dhabi 1100 GMT

I know some of you find it boring (and it has been recently) but the change of rules and regs this year should see some good racing!

Plus, having a Brother-In-Law that does the Carbon Fibre / Composite work for Mclaren has its benefits

Sorry, I only get one staff pass for the British Grand Prix Although I can occasionally get a free handful of tickets for Goodwood FOS...

I'm still trying to persuade him that custom carbon parts for my Scoob is the way forward

Yes please

The F1 season should be a bit better than last year, but with no buyer for Honda coming out the woodwork it looks like we're another team down, with Jenson out of the sport.

Return to slicks is good, and hopefully the aerodynamic changes will help overtaking, but the cars do look daft now!
