Default Another ice blue 1

Hi, I'm Paul from Rochester. I've had my WR1 for a month now, and love it. Apart from when it tried to swap ends on me during a little getting to know you session last night! I must've looked like a right hooligan wagging my tail off the roundabout!

Hopefully after the spring I'll be able to give her a proper detail and maybe get to a meet and show her off.

Thanks for the welcome. If you mean big 'E', he was the one who pointed me in this direction from the WR1 owners club. It'd be nice to see another one in the flesh, I'm not likely to drive past one any time soon.

to SES. glad you've made it on here, you obviously have excellent choice of colour and now you would have found out what it is like to own the superior scoob the WR1. not that I am biased.

Looking good has it been played with or is the 1 original ?

Dont be afraid to ask any questions if you have any, we are a friendly bunch on here.

Thanks. It's all original apart from Pagid discs and goodridge hoses. And now a set of black mudflaps with prodrive and WR1 decals. Toying with the idea of a remap to freshen everything up in 6 months or so, but at the moment it's plenty enough to get the adrenaline pumping. Seems like a friendly place with plenty of banter here.

Very very nice mate, love the WR1's and it wouldn't suprise me if my return is in a '1' at some point.

There's a few little bits to take care of in the spring, but mainly cos I'm quite fussy. All in all it's a great all around car. The mrs potters around off boost to do the school run, and the powers there for when I want it. It's no worse on fuel than the V6 A3 I had before, but loads more room and a hell of a lot faster!

A few more pics of the one. I'll put a proper thread up when she's had a decent wash.

First wash.

And new flaps.

Thanks for the reply, I`ve been using Auto Finesse Avalanche but disappointed in its performance but as Ron aka`pieman`(our resident detailing expert ) says"Having the right HP cleaner/foam/lance combo really helps".

Definitely. The ph neutral foams nicely, but a slight drop in pressure from the karcher and doesn't stick at all. People question the benefits of it, but whether it does anything or not it's still fun.
