Not got a clue but i would swap my type r for that lol .

SpecB 29-01-2016 03:18 PM

I'm thinking more of replacing the spec b and the Impreza with a twinscroll legacy or forester sti

Banstead Stig 29-01-2016 03:20 PM

Both excellent choices in my opinion.

scotty 29-01-2016 03:35 PM

Forester sti now that would be a nice move .

SpecB 29-01-2016 03:43 PM

Just seems a waste having the Impreza sat there doing nothing (and costing me money) when I could sell both the toy and the family hack and get a newer car that does both.

Rdlangy1 29-01-2016 03:46 PM

Amazing spec - will be a good buy for someone whatever the cost :ok:

Mine is the car I've kept the longest. Just shy of five years now.

SpecB 29-01-2016 08:24 PM

Twin scroll leggy be smart ,

chrisp 29-01-2016 11:09 PM

Jdm twin scroll 6 speed legacy estate is what I'm looking at if I get rid of the widetrack, that would be my choice
Bit thin on the ground though so importing seems the main option

I didn't know you could get a 6 speed. That's always been a sticking point for me... and the cost of a replacement clutch!

munk 30-01-2016 08:10 AM

would you get more breaking it??

Frenchie 30-01-2016 08:41 AM

Interesting thread. I'am also looking at a car change.I've had my WRX for 12 years and its been great. Have looked at and tried a few new cars, but still drawn back to the Subaru mark. Have booked a 2nd test drive of the 2016 STi for this weds. As to what yours if worth Nick,no idea. I know you spent massive on it,just need to find someone who will appreciate everything you have done.

thepieman 30-01-2016 10:08 AM

So the question is?

"What do you think it's worth?"

Nick! the answer is simple......

Its worth using it more:drive: and keep it:closed:

And only this.

:p

(or give it to me :coolsanta: )

Steve_PPP 30-01-2016 11:24 AM

Although if you want a new legacy...

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classifi...casc&logcode=p

Best colour and those seats...... Lovely :10:

SpecB 30-01-2016 11:44 AM

Do like the wr legacies but most are autos in the UK manuals are 5 speeds as well and the Impreza 6 speed isn't an easy fit

The description gave me false hope.... it's an auto. :(

Red Baron 30-01-2016 01:50 PM

Another great car that's unfortunately worth more in parts than it is complete. In an ideal world you'd drop a standard WRX lump back in it with all the other original bits and have a nice clean bug for sale and move all the good bits on separately.

Yeah, I'll be moving it on, engine wise it'll be back to standard but still with all the whiteline goodies, bc coilovers and the ksports still on.
Buying some salon sti 18's to replace the Japan racing wheels that are on it now.
Only selling as I just haven't gelled and want one car to do all hence the twin scroll estate
It's not going to be silly money, will be sensibly priced

6 speeds are around 2005/2006 onwards for the legacy, really not many about

You can get 6 speed ones

SpecB 31-01-2016 08:06 AM

The JDM GTBs I've seen are all 5 speed my UK spec B is a 6 speed but there's not many of those about so boxes are thin on the ground.

This however is tempting http://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/351633742964

Frenchie 31-01-2016 08:41 AM

That does look very nice Nick.

Keep an eye on Charlie's inventory he sometimes has some good cars in.....

This is nice especially in white and well priced too. http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/301860066184?_mwBanner=1

Not a fan of those wheels personally.

There are some good cars coming over currently, so it's a decent time to be in the market.

Can't see how a facelift 07 will be a cheaper VED car.

I do like them in white. I was considering swapping mine for a white one with fewer miles recently.

thepieman 31-01-2016 10:40 AM

Because it's been imported and registered using the PLG system instead of using the measurements (emissions) category Co2;)

There's quite a few imports done this way, keeps them in the older taxation classes:ok:

Banstead Stig 31-01-2016 10:57 AM

Shame no one thought of that with mine. :(
