Thanks Tim. Yes it's a bit of a sleeper in Spec B configuration, with the bilsteins making the handling most satisfactory over the regular Legacy platform. When we took it on the Stelvio Tour a few years back, most of the Impreza guys thought it was a bit of an old man's car, until they found they could never get away from us on the spirited drives. One guy kept making a show of adjusting his dampers in the vain hope that he would then be able to leave us on the twisties. He got quite frustrated about it. Considering it's a bigger car, it holds up pretty well against it's smaller brother. And the 3 litre six is extremely smooth too!!
