The police probably won't do much about it seeing that most gypos for one don't have a fixed address and two, are scary. They'll put a curse on you for not buying their lucky heather... imagine what'd happen if you got their van crushed!

One of my old mates had the right idea.

You know those big old chrome caravan things they sometimes live in, well
he pulled up in his Land Rover on the day they went to a country fair in Staplehurst and knicked the fooker,
He done it twice, stored them in a barn for 5 months and sold both abroad (contents and all).

He finally got caught driving a van with half the contents of an off license he had emptied in Edenbridge and two crates filled with Brazilian Subbuteo football teams he had half inched from somewhere else.
He got 8 months.

Years ago it used to be said that if you were getting followed for whatever reason by the police and you didn't want to be stopped to drive into the site, not sure which would have been worse though. Used to work in dunsfold aerdrome, they were a pain in the arse, still are

Would be worse than driving through the monkey enclosure at the Zoo with banana puree spread all over the car. At least the monkeys are funny to look at and.. oh wait
