depends on budget....
P1's are great. Rb5 not many on here and cheaper. as james said about the Ra...is your choice driving dynamics or its ltd edition status your main criteria? As we have owners of both P1 and Rb5 on here might be worth copping a ride in both at a meeting? |

Limited availability is on the list of things i'm looking for ideally.
Something to make me keep it in good condition and feel very much as if i have a little bit of history in a marque loved by many. Price has to be right at the end of the day, and if a good example for the right money at the right time comes along i would think hard if it wasn't one of the limiteds. Guess it's the feeling of owning something a bit different and the exclusivity of the numbered models appeals to me. Doesn't mean i'm not going to think about others though. |

Have to get to another meet soon to have a look at what people have. Will have to turn up in the munich machine if you'll excuse it for a couple of hours (can always park it out of the way of the camera ![]() Everything will be down to timing and what's available when it comes to it, but i do value the remarks of any connoisseur. |

Not sure of the price range, but what about an S201 or S202? Just to give you a few more options
![]() After years of looking I have just finally found a S204 for sale, but had no idea they'd be so expensive ![]() |

RA = drives like a kart
RB5 = look nice, toooooo slow WR1 = Colour induces vomiting. RB320 = Nice 22B = Nice P1 = The real deal If you ever get chance to drive a P1, do it. It's then that you realise they are different. |

Love this thread, we are all passionate and take coments personally
![]() I had looked for an RAR for months, they are minimum 30k landed for the right one, trust me I've put the time in on them. The S204 is lush and I did find one, but got messed about on it. Now owned a P1 for a bit and for straight out the box, it's fantastic, handling is great, firm but a comfy daily drive. In fairness the WR1 that I've seen get spanked to Germany a few times, has been a great car and performed so well, shame about the colour ![]() Oh and the 201 in my opinion looks fookin discusting, it's so nasty. |

As much as we all rib the WR1 for it's colour, it is a cracking car straight out the box and to be honest I do quite like the colour, although MrsPieman loves it more....
Looking at the prices though, they are losing pace with the P1's and they are a better bet IMO as a car that shouldn't depreciate as much. If your just after a well sorted very well looked after car then I'm sure Crowman would do a deal on his classic and that's a good all round scoob for the money, combined with the history, a great purchase for someone. Really does depend on what you want from the car... |

As we all well know, we only rib IANS WR1, as it's the most minging colour in the known universe, anyone elses WR1 is stunning
![]() I bought my 04 STi 2 weeks before the WR1 was available, which sometimes I think was a huge mistake. But I wouldn't change mine for the world now. (it owes me far too fookin much for starters ![]() My choice would have to be the RB320. I think it's a stunning looking car, the best "out of the box" special edition car for looks bar none. ![]() It really is down to personal choice, good luck with it all mate. |

So then is the answer to buy a WR1 just so you could respray it WR Blue. Then you would have a v unique WR1 and it wouldnt be a gay colour?

Have to agree with Worzel - if you have the cash go for a 320. You just have to look at Jay's to see what a truly beautiful car it is. If you have slightly less and want a newage then look at the WR1. It has a great spec. There seems to be a few up for sale at the moment. As mentioned the S203 and 204 are nice, but look to be overpriced IMHO.
If you want to go lighter with a classic - 22B's are great, but the best value for money has to be a P1. RAs are great fun especially if you get the chance to take it on the track ![]() See what you've started! They're all very good to be honest and it depends on your budget and what you want from the car. Wouldn't it be great to do a back-to-back test in each? Ideally one of each would be nice..... |

It does look a bit like a Dr. Frankenstien's monster. Driven through Halfrauds just before being released into the wild.
Bet it performs well though. I'd like what ever i get to be towards the end of the classic period, hence leaving the Terzo off the list. P1's and Type R variants seem to be winning the poll so far, both of which i do like as so far don't have a need for rear doors, and by the looks of it can be picked up in my price range (really wish i could seriously look at RB320's and 22B's) unless i win the lottery pronto. Got a bit to sort on the M3 before getting shot and then i'll be in the market. Whatever i get will more than likely stay mostly standard (anyone believe me? i'm not even sure i do) as if i want to hoon it around i've got the bike. Any more interesting options that are out there anyone can suggest will give me something else to look at while i should be working. |

Scooby Greg...that is a great idea as you could not only have all the tech details about each car but you could have pics of each car as well and have all this info in one place so those who only have a standard scoobie can check out what we are missing with these ltd edition models.
