Default todays subaru puzzle

as people know baby on way and wont be long till its screeming louder then a scoobie back box at full chat,

well my parents bought us a push chair, stroke car seat thing, and laydown cot thing that goes on push chair,
this push chair is one of those all in one things that thay all clip on etc,

now you try getting the bloody thing in a classic saloon impreaza!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ive tried all ways,

puting it in front ways, sideways, backwords, diagonally, best ive managed is 3 weels in boot

so i try up side down and with a bit of force and taking of part of push chair its in, but boot wont shut

have sussed if i remove R clips and take weels of it will fit in boot and lid shuts, the wife will be so happy when its raining doing that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so we look inside car for insparation,

open back door and lay push chair on seat, then you cant clip baby seat in properly in the back, and baby seat cant go in front because of air bag,

so it looks like i have been right for years

but baby in boot!!!!!!!!!!!!

it can throw up all it likes in the boot and wont wreck your seats!!!

still trying to convince wife this is best idea and we have 2 very sensible family cars!!!!!

Boot a great idea - but make sure you soundproof it Simon!

I've got no idea on the rules of where you can and can't put a baby seat in a car (i expect i might have to learn within a few years though )

But you say it can't go in the front because of airbag - god knows why Subaru didn't include a key-switch to disable it like every other car manufacturer out there Is the passenger airbag on a different fuse to the drivers airbag? Bit of a ghetto fix tho....

That must be a huge buggy/pram. I've had scoobs since my 2 were babies. Even been on family holidays with cases containing a weeks worth of luggage for 4, and still had the pram and iirc the high chair all in the boot.

push chair does seem a bit on the big side for some reason, but thats the one she wonted, and it fitted in the back of a scoda fabia, no problem

sorted the problem by buy a landrover freelander, as a new run around
