Default Help needed with cat....

Hi people, I need a bit of help...
I have a 98 turbo with a straight thru decat and now she is out of mot and I can't find a friend to get an mot done..... So, do I need to get both cats on car to get thru emissions test or just the top cat.....?
Any help would be much appreciated thanks

Sure my old Sti ra past just by replacing centre cat.... Not 100% thou sorry

I know that with a good down pipe sports cat you can get through MOT

^^^^ what he said. mine went through in November with just a sports cat in the down pipe.

i would recomend getting 5 new nuts and a 2 spare studs for where the down pipe bolts on to the turbo flange before you attempt to change the down pipe. you may not need them, but if they've not been moved in a while, the nuts can be a complete ars3 to get off and are easily rounded.
better to spend an extra £15 and be able to complete the job rather than find out too late that you've gotta order them before you can use tha car again!
give these guys a call if you can't get hold of the nuts/studs elsewhere.

Mine passes (just and needs to be hot) with a mid section Cat only (Miltek)

Have brought a top cat to put on for a bloody day!!!
See how she goes with that on!
Right pain in arse for half hour mot lol but she's worth it
