Default Sad Clive (Skullfudge)

Was talking to Clive on Sun at Sumo and asked him what figures he'd got from the rolling road.He said the figures showed 518bhp which he found a bit disappointing!!!!Trying to think of who else I know who would be disappointed with 518bhp,no names have sprung to mind yet.

Depends on what you had before and how much you spent for the gains or losses.... Tim is another who comes to mind after having a build and wanted more

LOL ........ not so much disappointed, more frustrated.

I am more than pleased with the car and how it drives but frustrated with myself as it's the first time up RCM for major works that I haven't gone as far as I could.

After PB had mapped the car on RCM's dyno it was clear that the new GT30 b/w Turbo was drawing more air. This resulted in the fuel maxing out around the 540 bhp mark.

If P2 didn't exist I would have asked Olly to up the injectors from 850cc to 1100cc and fit another Bosch Motorsport fuel pump which would have taken care of the fuel situation ........... BUT....... I have promise myself to call it a day on chasing power with the P1, and I do realise that 600+ won't be as good as what it is now.

It's extremely expensive building cars like my P1, and to keep it in tip top condition and I need to start getting sensible.

I still have the option of Meths which will see mid to high 500's so if I get bored I can always do that

Clive, I can well understand that you are a bit frustrated as you were actually assuming to get more bhp. But you also said, it feels so much better than it did before, and this is actually what counts. You've got an AWESOME car!!! Everybody knows that. Just enjoy it and love it. I do anyway. vrrrrmmmm, vrrrrrrrmmmmmm
