Yep a great advert for Rally Cross that just doesn't get the coverage it deserves.
But then I suppose if it did, it would change from what we all know and love.

I love rally x and a great episode. Watching them race has given me the itch I absolutely loved it and miss racing myself those were the days.

I saw him in that California at Goodwood and you could tell he was genuinely overjoyed to be driving it. Good on him I say!

I too would be exactly the same if I was loaded.

I must confess the California doesn't do much for me

Would love a garage like that though, although it needs more space front and rear of the motors ... and more lights!

Chris Evans Ferraris .

I was behind him a few years ago and he was driving his Bentley (first car in this video) but it was a very dark green ???
Doesn't look green in this footage though ?

What a great collection of cars, have to agree with BigTel that the garage did look a bit on the tight side .

Ditto. There are some cracking classic Ferrari's, but that one doesn't do anything for me.

Highlight of the show for me - by quite some margin - was the rallycross feature. I'd heard that Top Gear were going to do a rallycross feature late last week and I was afraid that, like so many things they feature on the show, it was going to descend into piss taking. Was a brilliant feature though and a fantastic bit of PR for the sport, good job Top Gear.

(Pity TG didn't include a little demonstration of the current rallycross supercars to show people how fast & frantic some of the racing gets).

Thats Andy Scott, owner of Scott Trawlers. He was racing in the British and European Rallycross Championship last year in a Mk.2 Focus. He is going to the Global Rallycross Championship (in the US) this year to race one of Per Eklunds Saabs.

I'm hoping he'll have time to fit the two BRC rounds at Lydden in behind the wheel of his Focus.
