Default Another Nurburgring trip...
72 laps in 6 weeks and counting

Just got back from a 5 day trip. I jumped in with some mates and we set off for Germany. Nice leisurely drive there and we arrived at the house I shared with my mate while I worked at the track.

Eventful trip as, if you've read my post in the Nurburgring Insurance thread, you'll be aware a guy I know had a big accident and his passenger is still in hospital.

Destroyed my brake pads on the Grand Prix circuit so on go the Performance Friction 01 pads:

A couple of the funniest laps I've driven. People were laughing at the viewing areas at me and Dan in helmets in the slowest car I've ever driven on track

There are photographers there all the time, just a matter of finding them.

You can photograph from anywhere around the track. Officially you're not allowed to photograph from inside the car whilst on the Nordschleife but in reality they aren't so bothered, it's just filming that tend to crack down on.

It's about 20km outside of Adenau. Some sat navs bring you past it.

Tobogganing was great fun, it was quiet and we had the place to ourselves so the guy did us a deal, worked out €1 per run once my mate (she's German) talked him into the deal
