Default Remap today!!!

Well today was the day!. All I can say is what a massive difference. I was quite surprised at the figures the car produced before the map considering it has only had a back box and centre section. Before the map it was 302bhp and 320lbs torque. After an hour or so of tweaking - 340bhp/355lbs. More importantly it is now alot smoother and pulls like a train in each gear, particularly 3rd and 4th. What a day!

They were road dyno, tho', one of the guys went straight to a rolling road this afternoon (not sure if surrey or not), which near as damn it gave him the same figures. Saved me doing it as i'm skint now - lol

Dave will give you good information for sure.

But Dave will always play it safe too, which is no bad thing. It depends on what you want at the end of the day.

Then you couldn't go wrong with getting your turbo fixed, Scott mapping it and then going for it when you get back.

AFP4H – is based on a TD04 this is available new or fully re-manufactured on an exchange basis. It is fitted with a new high efficiency, high flow rate compressor wheel and compressor housing which is capable of maintaining the fast spool up rate typically associated with the TD04 but with the ability to run higher boost efficiently over a wider rpm band. This turbo has been tested to levels in excess of 320lbft and 320bhp. With full boost still coming in as low as 2500rpm on a 2.0

£400 exchange (includes 12 months warranty)

Nice result and interesting to see what can be had from a relatively stock STI Hawkeye. Must make for a nice daily driver. Is that with both CATS all still in place ?.

Cheers
