Default The scoob is sorted.

With some fantastic help from my bro and Rich the scoob is well sorted.

Cheers bro for the help today
Big thanks to Rich. Who arrived in Crowborough at 8am and did not get home until 8 pm.
A few pictures below show the day we had.

I was busy for a while fitting new brake pads and whheels to Iain;s scoob.

Rich and my bro got stuck in to removing the front struts and replacing with some cusco coil overs.
Then myself and Rich set about removing the rears.
We then stripped out the intercooler and all pipework, once stripped down we re asembled double checking all fittings and clamps.
Rich is very crytical about how he does a job, and might i say he is bloody good at the mechanical bit, Top job Rich.

Oh my god i now have a go kart, i am talking amazingly hard, not a car to drive every day, but fantastic for track use.
Tone you are so right about just how hard they are.
No noises from intercooler and no lag, love it love it love it

Fronts first - Bloomin tight bottom strut pinch and camber bolts.

On to Rich's to sort the rough running and knocking, Which we now beleive is plugs and drivers side engine mount.

Cheers mart had a wicked day, awesome tea maker and a lovely breakfast to boot!!
Im well chuffed with your car and even more chuffed we got that mouse out of your intercooler.

Must admit ive never driven anything so lively and so stiff but what a car so so much fun.

Best moment of the day: Out on our test drive, both windows down cruising back after a little blatt, absolutely laughing our heads off about how hard it was with our moobs jiggling, and every body we pasted staring at us like we just got out of an asylum! Double priceless

Right the mission is on to get the odds and sods sorted out on mine

Good job chaps.

After the 2nd front mount not turning up I thought it was going to be a long weekend. You boys did a great job.

When Darryl turned up at the Treacle mines I was quite surprised, just goes to show how hard and how quickly you cracked on.

Good stuff fellas
