Default Interesting fact

I was talking to a mate about going to tthe ring next year and his mate (dont know him at all) said he is going next year in his 1.2 corsa and thinks he can do it in well under 15 mins.

When I asked him why he thinks he can he just said..... well I've done it on ps3 in under 15 mins.. I had to hold my laugh in

I reckon a standard 1.2 corsa could get around in about 12 minutes in the hands of someone who knows the circuit.

But 15 minutes should be easy for anyone. My question is.... why take a corsa round in the first place?!

My 18 year old has a corsa if he could afford to take it round the ring I bet he would until he could afford a quicker car,not everyone can afford a quick motor especially the insurance costs at a young age,and if he had the chance to do the ring now and in a few years in something quicker he would still love to take the corsa round now I bet

Why go in a corsa coz that's all he got at the mo but know what you mean might be better off putting the money towards another car and doing brands but maybe he loves the power of the corsa lol

Thats what I mean the money. I have nothing against the car but like you say, brands is closer and cheaper. We could tow him round if we are there at the same time lol.

Why wouldn't you take it if it is something you want to do?

Do you think Supercar drivers think that way about a bloke taking an Impreza?

You can have a lot of fun in a little hatch. Some of my fondest driving memories involved my 205.

I was just saying. I was told that its about £800 for a couple of days there including a day at the ring... that just seems a lot.

Well in that case I can bounce off the Armco all I want, use anyone in front of me as an extra brake and not get a scratch on my car, sweet!

Oh and restart the track...

I didn't mean any offense by this thread. You do realise at first found this funny because of the ps3 comment. I dont know why you are all getting defensive about what car he drives there.
