Finished one of the wheel arch tubs last night, they had to extended to meet the wide arch kit. I have made the arch the same hight as the front so i should be able to get the car very low if i want to.

Finally!!!!!!! managed to upload pics after having issues with my computer. Done a fair amount since last up dating, both inner arch extensions are welded on, both quarter panels are cut and trimmed to shape, I've managed to fabricate a lip on the inner edge of the quarter panels to ensure a strong fixing between the inner and outer arch, had some 2.5mm fiber glass sheet made with fire retardent in to panel off the boot area, fabricated rear bumper mounts, made a mould for the boot floor panel to take the battery and have had it made in fiber glass again with fire retardent in,seat mounts done, brought my wheels and suspension and done most of the rear diffuser and bumper but thats a story in it's self.

Few pics of my rear diffuser, first off i measured everything up and did a techincal drawing, made a mould out of wood then sent it off to have a fiberglass product made off of it. Offered the product up to the rear bumper and cut it out to meet the diffuser, then fabricated a lip on the back of the bumper for the diffuser to attach to. Filled in the difference between the bumper and the diffuser and blended them in. Its not finished yet but you get the idea, the plan is to bring the exhaust out in the middle below the number plate.

looking good.. however to go to the trouble of making a custom manifold and up and downpipe I would have put the turbo at the front as you have made the uppipe length longer which will make it more laggy. Not being negative just my opinion btw.

Simon
I have mounted the turbo at the top for a few reasons, so that it gets constant cool air through the bonnet scoop, also so that I can make the inlet pipework as short as possible with the least amount of bends and so that I have plenty of room in the front inner arches to fit my oil cooler in one side and have the dry sump tank in the other...and finally so I can get a MAHOOSIVE front mount intercooler in there! With this set up I can get an intercooler with a bigger frontage and bigger cooling capacity than the biggest APS intercooler for the impreza.

Custom intercooler made now, and its pretty dam big (120mm core). I've made up the subframe to take the intercooler and radiator, whilst trying to keep the weight as far back as possible. Not very impressed with the front bumper as it is totally the wrong shape and fits really badly, so that will be going in the bin and will be ordering a different one soon. Bonnet pins have been fitted and have just made a start on de-weighting the doors.

Agreed apart from the bit about throwing it in the bin. A good bodyshop can sort it.

I've since smashed mine in an accident however, and will be buying one from ABW
