Default Bit of luck!

I had a bit of an accident over the festive season, resulting in this...

It was my own doing, rushing around and not taking care... very unlike me.

Given the location of the dent I was unsure PDR would deal with it and feared an expensive bodyshop bill awaited me.

Anyway, today was the day of truth, as I met up with a dent repair man that tbtstt recommended to have a look, et voila...

He also took out a number of other minor dings and dents, so a very productive morning!

If the mods/admin are happy for me to do so I would gladly share the details of the chap who did the work. I am very impressed with what he has done.

It was tremendous value when you weigh up the alternatives, i.e. bodyshop or lost money at resale, so if you have any annoying little dings, I would highly recommend giving PDR a crack.

Thanks.

I saw the recommendation area, so will post there too now I know I'm not treading across anyone else on the forum.

The chap is Dave Wheal from Dent Devils. He is based in Crawley, but is mobile and has a reasonable 'patch'.

He did a good job and was very reasonable when it came to agreeing a price, as he took on a couple of extra bits to tidy them up too.

Overall, the bits done for the money was exceptional value compared to if I'd needed full on bodyshop work.

The dent in the pics above is in a really awkward spot, so I was unsure if dent pulling would work. As you can see, it's a top job.

It depends, but as a starter his tariff is about £75 for the first panel, but each additional panel is then discounted. As I say, he and I negotiated a price for the work.

I had five dings in total across three panels, the worst being that pictured above. Was with him for about two hours in total. I don't think it is fair to say exactly what I paid, because a couple we very straight forward.

Best thing to do is get some photos, give him a call then send them through. I got a good idea of cost before meeting up with him. He was very fair.
