Default Pure Classic Track

Hello,

Thought I'd introduce myself. I haven't yet got a Scooby but would be looking at getting one in a couple of months. I've always wanted a pure project track car and something to enter into competitions.

I've had a few wrxs in the past. I am looking for some advice if possible, all the mechanical work I can do myself. Would a wrx be a good starting car or would you lot go for an sti? I'd be putting mahle pistons and rods in in the future anyway.

First thing I need to do is get my trailer license .

Any advice is welcome thanks.

Hello and welcome

As CJ says, all depends what you're after.

to SES fella

If your building the car from scratch and as a pure track machine, the best shell to have in a classic I guess would be a type R the rest you will be replacing I guess.
