Agreed, it's the point where the reflection is that makes it look that way, but the shape the car is in makes it look unlikely that was what happened.

I hope both of them are alright and shame about the type r as it is a lovely car and I do hope they rebuild it to its former glory .

Bent steering arm as the car had steering lock on when it hit the tyres. The bent arm was removed from the car, straightened and refitted apparently.
