Definitely make sure you get quotes before you buy.... and try and find a completely standard car because mods will cause you insurance problems at 21.

Here's a nice example but as Steve said about mods at your age might be costly .

Welcome! Make sure you speak to Moley regarding insurance - Keith Michaels insurance. He might be able to get you a good deal.

to SES Ashley, Get some quotes first!, depending on what your looking for raw driving experience, or comfortable and fast will decide what you buy, you can get a very tidy 04/05 WRX for 5k (comfortable and fast) or you could spend on a really nice v4/v5 classic STI (raw and faster!). but insurance will be the decider

Keep your eye peeled for members cars on here selling or other Subaru forums and keep us updated with your search There is a very nice classic for sale in the for sale thread on here at the moment

Hello and welcome to SES

£1300 is pretty good. I paid that for mine in my first year when I was 32!
