Default Bloody Traffic wardens!

I parked my car this morning outside my office on an hour only bay with no return for another hour. Parked at 9.00am. Went out in the car at 9.35am and returned to the same space at 10.40am. Got a ticket!. The ticket states the car was parked there at 9.30am, which it was, and parked there at 10.44am, which it was. Nothing about the fact that it wasnt there for the hour and 5 mins between!!!. I shall be challenging that one.

Good luck mate, going to be very tricky to prove that one.
You know you have the right under the data protection act to ask for town centre cctv footage if there is any.
Its a good point though, as if the warden has to do his patch he may not walk past your car for a few hours and will never know if you moved for an hour and then reparked in same spot.

My brother used to be a traffic warden.

When he was doing the job they had to make a note of where the valves were in relation to a clock face, to check if the vehicle has been moved.
You could ask if this was done?

The ones in Worthing take a pic of the car as they walk past, then take another pic two hours later to prove it hadn't moved. Might also be worth asking if they had taken any pics of your car - might help prove your innocence if you're in a slightly different place?

Reading this that means for one complete hour you did not do any form of cleaning on your car, that can't be correct.

I know mate. Fortunatley the client I was with is happy to back me up, so see what happens. Trouble is, they probably hear it all the time.
