Private day for just 100 cars, not bad at all

its not a bad price at all thinking about it, £500 each if two people go.

the idea of it being a closed circuit so no risks regarding insurance problems, liability etc makes it particularly appealing.

but twice in 3 months is too expensive for me, and the trip in May is just a great escape for a few days, even if you only get a couple of laps in

I think CJ was looking into this last year as a possibility.

Maybe something to look at for next years rimg trip, it is expensive to a degree, our long weekend costs about £600.00 per car, thats room, food and beer at the hotel, ferry etc. But we do have to buy laps and battle with shed loads of other cars and bikes.

I think it's worth £500.00 for sure as a driver, but would you pay £500.00 to be a passenger? I wouldn't

Yes i did suggest it as your ses trip but thought it fell on deaf ears
if you add it up what it cost last year ,for the extra laps its cheap and if you have someone you are happy to share a trax car with even better

Thats the thing, if you had someone you were ok letting out in your car, this is the way to go, otherwise it is a little dear to be honest.

Last year it cost about £550 and thats all in, including fuel.

It would be nice to have the ring bike free, but you will still get others making it just as challenging.

If its going to cost £1000 per car which includes a day at the ring.

By the time youve spent a day going round the ring it will cost at least another £700 in new tyres fuel oil wear & tear and thats if you make it back home.

So to do the trip and have a day on the ring its going to cost a minimum £1900 including fuel. Depending on how many laps you do.

So you would be looking at over £2000 for a long weekend.
